5What time does the music start?
Music will be live throughout the day, 12 noon - 10 p.m. Thursday and 12 noon - 11 p.m. Friday & Saturday.
6Can I leave the area and re-enter?
YES! The event is free and the concert area is included with the rest of the festival. All in Romare Bearden Park!
7What amenities will be in the area?
The area will have food & beverage for sale and restrooms. The entire festival is in Romare Bearden Park, so lots of free activities for the whole family!
8What are the rules to enter the concert area?
The following items are not allowed inside the concert area: outside food and drink, coolers, illegal drugs, controlled substances, weapons, bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, scooters (except for handicapped vehicles), pets/animals (except for assistance animals), professional cameras with removeable lenses, recording devices, selfie sticks, laser pointers, strobe lights, irritants (e.g. artificial noisemakers), bundles (e.g. package), backpack (subject to search), fireworks, umbrellas and containers of any kind.

The event is located in Romare Bearden Park. 300 South Church Street, Charlotte, NC 28202.

No, the event is free and no ticket is needed.

12Are the events rain or shine?
All events are rain or shine. However if there is a weather threat, we will work with our team to ensure safety of our guests. Please continue to check our website and social media pages.
13Is there seating, can we bring lawn chairs?
The concert area is on grass and you can bring a chair or blanket if you prefer. Please note that chair & blanket areas may be required to be placed in a specific area as directed by security.
14Is there handicap accessibility or other ADA resources available in the concert area?
Yes, there will be a handicap/wheel chair accessible area at the event. If you are living with a disability and have functional needs, please give 48 hours’ notice for any accommodation. You may reach us at 704-455-8888.
